Data of records series held by the NAA including descriptions of Commonwealth agencies responsible for creating the records series and consisting of:
Agency.xml = the administrative history of the Commonwealth Government – It contains information about Agencies. An Agency creates a series of records based on its functions as agency functions change, the custodians of the series changes.
Items.xml = Items (actual files) within series. With information such as record no, date, title, range (period things were put into it)
Naa.mdb = simple access database – agency, series and item in database table form
Series.xml = grouping of items within categories (within functional titling)
